Time to play baseball games!!!

There are no cuts, everyone plays, and we bat through the order. Participants will gain a strong understanding of the game, with individual skill development stressed. We anticipate having one 5th/6th grade team (grade based on 2019-2020 school year) playing 10-12 games. We will be playing teams from Dresden/Hanover, Lebanon, Hartford and other UV organizations.

Hats and jerseys will be provided and handed out before the first game. Players must provide their own grey baseball pants and red undershirts. Please bring your own glove & label both it, and your hat with your name. Boys - Must wear a protective cup. Due to the coronavirus, players are strongly encouraged to have their own bat and batting helmet. The town will provide these as needed, but players are not allowed to share equipment. (Ask coaches if you have questions about bat requirements.) Participants must return jerseys to their coaches at season’s end. Coaches will be in touch regarding game schedules, and most games will take place on Monday and Wednesday evenings. A regulation Cal Ripken League hard ball is used.

**Please know that this program takes place during a pandemic.  Social distancing, masks (when in close proximity/not during active play) and frequent sanitizing measures will be in place **
