A self-guided adventure to visit the working valley farms and historic hill farms of Norwich
A map, history podcast, and popup exhibits of historic photographs at the farms will provide you with new stories about Norwich's agricultural heritage. You can choose to purchase a tour ticket that includes all the ingredients and recipes for a fabulous localvore meal or a ticket just for the tour (the farm stands will all be open).

Times: 8:00-11:00am/bikes & 1:00-4:00pm/cars

Bicycle Brunch Tour (8:00am-11:00am) - $15/rider
Leaves from Norwich Historical Society where you will receive your map and history podcast. Your ride will take you on a 14-mile loop to three of Norwich's working farms (Honey Field Farm, Sweetland Farm, and Hogwash Farm) to gather food to make a delicious brunch when you get home. Finish your ride at Norwich Historical Society and receive a final few ingredients and the recipes for your meal. E-bikes are available to rent or borrow (see below). The food you receive will serve 2-4 people.

Driving Dinner Tour (1:00pm-4:00pm) - $25/car
Leaves from Norwich Historical Society where you will receive your map and history podcast. Your drive will take you on a 20-mile loop to Norwich's three working farms (Honey Field Farm, Sweetland Farm, and Hogwash Farm) where you will gather food to make a delicious dinner when you get home. Two of Norwich's historic hill farms are also on the tour with popup exhibits of old photographs. End your tour at the Norwich Historical Society and receive a final few ingredients and the recipes for your meal. The food you receive will serve 2-4 people.
