Boots and cross country skis
Norwich Nordic (K-3rd Grade)
Mondays, 3:30-4:30pm. December 5-March 6. Huntley Meadow. (We will not hold practice on school holidays or if school is cancelled.)

Cross-country ski with us at Huntley this year! This program will emphasize having fun in the snow on Nordic skis. All abilities welcome.

When we don’t have snow (or if ice makes Huntley too sketchy), practice will be held at the Tracey Hall gym. We anticipate the first few practices will run this way, and will be a good opportunities for the kids and coaches to get to know one another, before we contend with equipment.

Your child will need classic skis, boots, and poles. Please refer to Ford Sayre’s Equipment page if you are new to kids’ ski gear. The section on waxless classic skis is the relevant one; we won’t be using the skate technique.

A limited selection of loaner skis, boots, and poles are available. Please email bswenson@norwich.vt.us if you are interested in loaner equipment.
