This offering is for girls planning on playing lacrosse this spring to help them get a jump start on the season as well as to set up solid team basics. Our main objectives are to help players get in shape, improve stick skills and build team camaraderie in a spirit of support and fun. Please bring your own stick, goggles & mouth protector.  Please remember  to come with a pair of clean athletic shoes to wear in the school gym.

Sign up to improve individually and become more baseball savvy, as well as getting synchronized with the group you’ll be playing with later this spring. It is not required to play on the team in the spring but anyone considering playing spring baseball is encouraged to take part. Teamwork and strategy will also be introduced. Please BYO glove, helmet and bat.  (Please let your coach know if you need to borrow these items from Norwich Recreation).

Did you know that the Four Square World Championships take place in April, just two-and-a-half hours away in Bridgton, ME? After our intensive 5-week mud season session, your child will be ready to compete for that trophy!  Ok maybe not, but maybe they miss the endless hours outside on the grid and can't wait for spring to get back into it. If so, this is the class for them. We'll go over the official rules, then they can completely ignore them and call out 7-Up Blackjack Body Hits Cherry Bomb Everything Bagel go!

2:15 PM - 3:30 PM    Mountain Biking - Mountain Biking
This class will expand your knowledge of how to be a safe and responsible mountain bike rider. Learn  minor bike maintenance, and enjoy playing a variety of games. Safety rules for biking on trails as well as dirt & paved roads, will be covered. Learn how to balance better and perform basic maneuvers, like wheel lifts and cornering. Riders will learn what to wear/what tools to carry/how to ride safely in town as a pack. Riders must be confident riding in town and on easy trails. This is an Intermediate-level program, where riders will be challenged with more difficult technical skills and terrain with longer rides. Kids in this group MUST be able to ride safely in a group on the road from Huntley to Brookmead or up Brigham Hill. Equipment needed: TUNED mtn. bike, properly fitted helmet, water bottle & snack (carried by rider); gloves & eye protection recommended
